Jessica is also a Dental Hygienist. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Washington University in 2003 and started her career in the Tri-Cities area. She has worked alongside Dr. Child since she moved to Spokane in 2005. When Jessica isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and their two great kids. She also loves photography and reading.
Matthew was born and raised in sunny California. He graduated dental hygiene from Colorado Northwestern and lived in Colorado for about 4 years. Together with his family he found his way to Spokane and has been working as a hygienist since 2005. He enjoys volunteer work with his church and loves to spend time with his amazing wife and four children. They enjoy hiking, camping, and playing all sorts of games together. Matthew joined Dr. Child’s team in the spring of 2019 and is excited to meet all of our wonderful patients!
Meet Haley, one of our Dental Hygienists. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Washington University in 2020 and started her career with Dr. Child. When Haley isn’t working, she is spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys the outdoors, dirt biking and spending time with her family.
Mikki was born and raised in Spokane. She graduated from Ferris High School and completed the Dental Assisting course at Spokane Community College. Her career began working in this very dental practice in 1989. She has two great boys – Joey and Jake. She lives south of Spokane in Valleyford. Mikki’s knowledge and her caring personality make a wining combination!
Amanda was born and raised in the Spokane Valley. She graduated from River City Dental before joining Dr. Child’s team in 2020 as a dental assistant. If you’ve come in for a dental procedure, you’ve likely seen or been with Amanda assisting Dr. Child. She enjoys camping, hiking and more than anything recreational softball. Her weekends are typically booked with softball tournaments in Spokane and outside the state. Amanda enjoys making patients feel comfortable coming to the dentist and strives to provide a positive experience for future visits.
Ruby was born in Wenatchee, WA. She moved to Spokane in the fall of 2022 before joining the team in the early summer of 2023. Ruby currently attends Eastern Washington University pursuing a biology / pre-dental degree. In her free time she enjoys traveling, the outdoors and spending time with her family. As the hygiene assistant, you’ve likely met her while coming in for a cleaning..assisting your hygienist with charting and rescheduling your next appointments. Ruby enjoys the positive environment at the office and looks forward to meeting more patients throughout the year!
Courtney was born and raised in Spokane, but currently resides in Deer Park with her husband and three kids. When she’s not at work, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family or attending her kid’s many sporting events. Courtney is new to the dental field after transitioning from veterinary medicine. As the financial coordinator she enjoys staying busy and providing a thorough and positive experience for our patients when they come in.
Naomi was born in California but has lived a majority of her life in Spokane. You’ve likely either talked to her on the phone or met her in person while scheduling your next appointment. Naomi and her family enjoy playing recreational sports together, having endless board game nights and taking on fun renovation projects around their home. Naomi hopes each patient looks forward to coming back each time by treating them with the kindness and respect they deserve.
